Air flows faster and smoother through the TM Series venturi due to the flat slide design and the jet blocks which help create smooth bore effect.
The high velocity of the air flow means a stronger vacuum at the needle jet providing more precise metering and better throttle response. We use this carb on the Chinese CH250 Water cooled Engine and the Chinese GY6-150cc Engine. This carb has a round style mounting tube and the intake manifolds for the above engines will clamp this carb tight. We have experienced tremendous increase in power for the 250cc engines with much better throttle response and better cold starts due to the manual hand choke lever. Bolts directly on the CH250 manifold with no other modifications needed, however a custom built throttle cable will be needed. Also bolts to the GY6-150cc manifold by raising the manifold with spacers and gaskets and must use longer manifold studs.
